The year that was…

Today marks a very special day. A year ago on Dec 21 I got the keys to the studio, and my husband and I ducked around before heading to his Christmas work dinner to just sit in there and drink it in. It was such a magical moment, so heavy with possibility, with both of us mentally planning out the rooms and visualising how it would all look.  To think of all I’ve achieved in there since…it does my head in.A huge thank you to all of my vendors and supporters, who helped me pull it all together and talked it up all over town. It’s been such a joy to do this, so to have had it be so successful has been amazing.

I wanted to pause for a moment as I wrap up this year, with a huge thank you to all the clients who passed through my doors in the last twelve months. Your beautiful children with their open hearts and souls have been such a gift, and I hope you all have a peaceful and joyous Christmas.

I’d like to make a special mention of little Gemma and Dylan from Ronald McDonald House, who have shown me what strength and hope is, and I wanted to send hugs to their families who get to take their babies home for Christmas. You’re in my thoughts constantly. xo.
